Mediq announces intent to acquire Mathot in the Netherland

De Meern, 12 December 2024 – Mediq, a leading European provider of medical devices and healthcare solutions for patients and healthcare institutions, is pleased to announce its intention to acquire Mathot Medische Speciaalzaken. Since 1897, Mathot has been a trusted supplier of medical devices and an expert in ostomy care, wound care, incontinence care, and compression therapy in the Netherlands.

The acquisition of Mathot is a testament to Mediq’s commitment to strengthen its position in the Dutch market and its vision to enable sustainable care. The acquisition creates synergies that help meet the growing demand for care while maintaining and, where possible, enhancing the quality of care.
