Christa Nielsen to join Mediq as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Nordics, Baltics and the UK

Mediq, a leading European provider of medical devices and care solutions to patients and healthcare institutions, is pleased to announce that Christa Nielsen will join our organization on June 1st as our Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Nordics, Baltics, and UK.
With extensive leadership experience spanning over two decades, Christa has worked with renowned banking and supply chain giants like Danske Bank and Maersk Group. Currently, she serves as Head of Group Operations Management and Senior Vice President at ISS Global, tasked with establishing a new global operating model for operations performance teams in more than twenty-two countries.

 

Christa joins Mediq as the company continues expanding beyond the original product distribution into providing services and solutions, in line with Mediq's mission to deliver the most right and the most efficient outcomes to European healthcare. In her new role, Christa will be responsible for business processes standardization and optimization across the Nordics, Baltics, and the UK cluster, as well as end-to-end operations to improve the customer experience while decreasing cost-to-serve; Mediq Business Services in Lithuania and further improvements in quality of our operations. Christa will report to Alex Jonker, Mediq's recently appointed global Chief Operating Officer (COO).
